Based on the principle of the modularity of gabions, Cyrille MAGNIN has designed the more aesthetic and more solid MODStone® Ecomurets.
This prefabricated module with one or more natural stone facings can be used to build a wall or low wall.
The MOD'STONE® modules use the principle of the gravity wall with the addition of a system for connecting the modules using stiffening posts.
They have multiple applications:
• borders
• facade cladding
• separation wall
• retaining wall
• anti-intrusion walls
• decoration
• banquette
• delimitation of area...
The application and project determine the thickness and number of matched faces of the module.
The unique design of our modules allows us to meet the specifications of design offices. Indeed, construction requirement standards are required when the height of the structure is significant. Beyond 2 m in height for a retaining wall, each project must be systematically validated by a calculation note.
4 ranges bring together more than 20 standard formats, from 1 to 5 dressed faces.
Due to their modular design, they fit perfectly into contemporary locations and due to their dry stone appearance they integrate perfectly into more remarkable landscapes.
The manufacture of MOD'Stone® modules requires a large and relatively qualified workforce. However, in the current economic context, it is very difficult to find this workforce. This is why our company, in partnership with the Local Missions, has chosen to recruit young people without training or special skills in order to offer them the opportunity to access a first stable job. The modules are assembled in the workshop, protected from climatic hazards. Strenuous gestures are minimized and productivity gains are increased because all the work is carried out in relation to human capacities.
MOD'Stone® modules are assembled by hand in the workshop like a dry stone wall in situ. Each stone is conscientiously recut and placed to ensure a fitting in accordance with the rules of the art.
The concrete used is produced in our workshop from crushed limestone from a quarry a few kilometers away and cement (soon to be low carbon). The water used in our workshop (concrete mix, equipment cleaning, etc.) comes from wastewater and recycling. In fact, we can say that our product is composed of 94 to 96% natural products.
We innovate to promote biodiversity in your landscaping projects by integrating niches into our eco-walls.
Our eco-walls thus provide different functions depending on the species and the time of year:
